Chaos rules!
Busy, busy, busy at the Hawen household. My super amazing wife and kids and I are packing up to move to a new city. It's a secret now, maybe we'll tell you later. Creating art like mad people, updating internet presence, packing boxes, raising children. Who needs sleep? We sure aren't getting any. Anyway, we made a few ACEO's I'd like to share with you. Love and Art
Guess what. Some thoughts about Jorda, then some art... I can't tell you how much I feel loved. I can't explain the degree of love that I feel. Never in my life have I felt so wanted, so adored, so together with someone. I've had some bad relationships in my life, a couple of REALLY bad ones. They really make me realize what I have now. It's incredible. I feel like I am really a part of something now. Of someone. It's like I've never been in love before. This family I have is the pinnacle of my life. My wife is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. I love her to death. I could not live without her. We are perfect together. She is perfect. We have so much in common, it's scary. I am lucky to have a love like this in my life. I can spend (and I do) 24 hours a day with her and never tire of her company. I have no desire for personal space and feel alone if she is in another room for more than five minutes. I know what it means when people say that my heart belongs to her. It does. It's not even mine anymore. She is an inseparable part of me that will last forever. I am so grateful to experience love like this, the world would be a much better place if everyone loved like we do.

The best part of my life and some paintings...
I know I can't stop raving about my wife. I can't help it. She is the most amazing woman I have ever met. I love her more than I have ever loved in my whole life of forty five years. Her strength and courage are unsurpassed. I love her with every fiber of my being. I love her heart, her style, her interests, her hopes and dreams, i love the way she smiles, the way she laughs, the musical sound of her voice, the way she looks at me, I love her scent, the feel of her skin, the way she feels in my arms. I love the way she walks. I love her from the top of her head all the way down to her little toes. I love her taste in music, in books, in movies. I love that she is an artist, that we share professions, i love her interest in conspiracy, in the paranormal, in extraterrestrial life and in Halloween. I love her clothing, her shoes and her undergarments. I love that she loves the night. I love her passion, her lovemaking and I think she is the most sensual creature I have ever met. Her kisses, her caresses, her hugs, and cuddles. I love the soft heat of her breath. Her touch has an electricity that only true love can give. I love the way she thinks, I love the way she has come up from such a rough start in life. I love her values and learn much from them. I love our family. It is the best part of my life. Fatherhood and being a husband is my greatest reward. I love the way she treats her friends, how few and close they are. I love her choices in food, that she lives mostly a healthy lifestyle. I love the exceptions in that, her weaknesses for cupcakes and tiramisu and flan and a few other choice sinful treats. I love that she loves animals, cats especially. I love that she doesn't drive. I love very single thing about her, even her stubbornness. I could never live without her. She is my world, my life, my once in a lifetime opportunity for true love. I will cherish her always. I love you Jorda.

"Cheshire Cat Moon" start to finish slideshow
A peek into the process in creating an acrylic painting. Sometimes major element changes happen during my process, but this time it remained true from the start. I think I spent about 20 hours on it altogether.
This painting is still for sale at my Etsy store! Thanks for looking!
EDIT: this painting has SOLD! Thanx Keith!
